My East coast trip didn’t quite come off as originally planned but I has a good meeting with Hasting Pastors and a church meeting at Hasting Baptist covering the Hastings churches earlier this week (Tue 22 Sept).
Last night (Thus 24 Sept) I had a good meeting with Church leaders, Missions team members and staff at Rotorua Baptist. Peter Foster, Whakatane Baptist, came across to support the meeting as well.
Similar to the South Island in the numbers attending department but some good conversations.
Its certainly a privilege to serve in the Baptist denomination with the amount of world mission activity that we are involved in… it was great hearing the level of commitment some churches have.
